Project Manager & High Voltage Telecom Engineering03/2014 – 04/2015

·   Providing end of life cycle engineering to replace high voltage protection equipment at a major California utility power provider with fiber entrance facilities, multiplexer equipment.

·   Conduct field meets and develop site plan requirements and maintain stringent safety protocol’s while on site.

·   Includes identification of required equipment, development of Bill of Material and all circuit design requirements to facilitate circuit migrations.

·   Developed substation engineering design to support fiber entrance facilities for secondary solar providers.

·   Cellular Tower Reviews: Performed reviews of Crowns Castle, AT&T and other cell site locations around northern California and developed engineering scope for placement of new PG&E communication antennas. ·   Provide recruiting support to a client base that included AT&T, Quest, Verizon, Bell South, Integra and other leading firms.

·   A key responsibility was to provide project management expertise and oversight for the San Jose, CA airport MPOE expansion project for AT&T.

·   Developed a team of installers that supported engineering and operational delivery of Triple Play voice, video / data to SureWest Telecom.

·   As one of the eight founding members of ATG, my role was responsible for the creation of the Switch, Transport, Outside Plant, and Power Engineering organization of a new CLEC, Advanced Telcom Group, Inc.

·   Staffing for all required engineering positions, design development of ATG’s Lucent 5ESS Switch Networks and ILEC collocation sites.

·   Oversee the company Fiber Sonet Construction and DS3 networks to support the ATG infrastructure and ATM core.

·   Responsible for the Switch site design and renovations build out of eleven host 5ESS sites, one DMS-500 site, 83 ILEC collocations.

·   Establish OSP-Construction fiber ring.

·   Coordinate and manage ILEC, leased facility requirements and negotiated IRU agreements with carriers for fiber and DS3 transport networks for interconnection.

·   Responsible for the technical oversight of the ATG, Field Operations organization, 15 Operations Managers, Supervisors and 125 Technicians comprised of, I&R, Data, Switch and Transport Technicians across 12 markets, from California to New York.

·   Responsible for the design and ordering and implementation of OSP electronic facilities and equipment within 30 wire centers served by the Stockton sub-district. Provided cost analysis for all equipment.
